Hidden gem- great for takeout and dine in. Lots of parking and usually tables available right away. Love how clean and spacious this place is, for a smaller restaurant. Service is fine and they are pretty quick. Favorite things here: *butter chicken - delicious and creamy *naan - fried to perfection *tikka kebab - well seasoned and a kid favorite *samosas - loved the dipping sauce it was served with

This place is pretty unassuming on the outside but the food is SO good here. Had the butter chicken, garlic nan and samosas which were all terrific! The person who greeted us when we arrived was very kind and professional. We will definitely be back!

Excellent restaurant! Impeccably clean, comfortable, and modern. Service is wonderful and the food is delicious! My 9 year old daughter is starting to expand her palate and try more Indian food, and she loves this place. We have specifically came to Dawaat twice in the past 1.5 months, and she talks about it often! (I just wish it was a little closer to our home, but it's worth it!) Great naan breads, chicken tikka masala, and palak paneer. We will be back again! Thank you! YUM!!

I had a good experience taste wise on three items I ordered: Lamb + Chicken + Mushroom Curries. I did a take away order. My only suggestion is please tone down on Salt & please don't introduce sugar into the mushroom curry to balance it out. Otherwise every curry was Fresh & nice flavor too.

We really enjoyed the curry's from here with the goat and butter chicken. Their fish fry was good the gobhi Manchurian was okay I've had better at other Indian places in the South Bay. Would go back!

We discovered this restaurant by an ad in the newspaper. It looked intriguing, so we had dinner there. We are so glad that we did. We were impressed with the food's taste and the friendliness of the staff. Each of the main dishes comes with rice. Naan and Raita are an additional charge. We had Lamb Curry ($18.99) and Butter Chicken ($17.99). Both were delicious! We also had a side of Garlic Naan ($2.99) and Raita ($1.99). The Butter Chicken was the best we have had in many years. The decor was basic and nice. We enjoyed the food so much that I returned here a few days later to get some take-out. Another order of Butter Chicken (just as delicious the second time!) and Mushroom Masala ($13.99) which was great. The Mushroom Masala consisted of mushrooms in a thick tasty sauce -- fantastic! We are so glad that we saw that advertisement. We now have a place to get great Indian food. We will be back.

Food and service here were great!! Enjoyed the Gobi Manchurian - which I felt almost had like a bbq wings flavor (that's a positive thing). Had the Butter Paneer - really strong cheesy flavor. And then lastly the mushroom masala, which didn't have the strongest mushroom flavor, but its savoriness balanced the other two dishes. Overall, we really enjoyed the flavors here.

I've been here twice now and love dining here. Most of the dishes are milder than other Indian restaurants I've been to, so this is a good option for those who dislike or cannot tolerate spicy food. Dawaat also gives very generous portions for a reasonable price. The service is very friendly and helpful! The butter chicken and malai kofta are very good; the sauce/gravy is so flavorful, creamy, and smooth, almost fluffy in consistency. I love the garlic naan here, which is well seasoned and fragrant with a crisp, slightly chewy texture. The samosas are delicious! Fried to order (we could hear the fryer starting up after we sent our order), they are so fresh and crispy without being oily. We also got a mango lassi and chai, and both were great!
